Dogfighter Takes Flight: Vintage Hot Wheels 1996 First Editions #10 of 12 ✈️🔴

This is the Hot Wheels Dogfighter, collector #375 and #10 of 12 in the 1996 First Editions series, in red. It’s still sealed on its original card, and it’s one of the most unusual hot rod designs of the 1990s.

The Dogfighter is a hot rod built to look like an old-fashioned fighter plane, with a seven-cylinder radial engine up front and a propeller that spins. This version is metalflake red with red, white, and yellow graphics, including “K-9” lettering, stripes, and a star on the sides. It’s a good fit for collectors who like Hot Wheels’ creative original designs, and for anyone who loves a plane-meets-car mashup.
